Police raid the home of Martyn Gilleard, 31 year old forklift truck driver and Goole branch organiser of neo-Nazi organisation The BPP.

They find 39,000 images of child abuse, knives, guns, machetes, swords, axes, bullets and nail bombs in his flat.

Police also find a "significant" amount of far right literature from the National Front, the British People’s Party (BPP), Blood and Honour, and the British National Party.

In a tabloid interview, the mother of Gilleard's 5 year old son claimed that Gilleard even stored nail bombs under his son's bed.

From Martyn Gilleard's own diary it becomes clear that he was preparing for a race war.

Gilleard used internet forums to train other nationalist and far right activists to make bombs and encouraged them to take up arms.

Following his arrest Gilleard was given the 'full support' of the BPP and was described as 'a hero to the cause' on the guest book page for Nazi organisation Combat 18.

Anyone who has already signed or is thinking of signing or intending to sign the nomination forms for Colin Autty will be suspended from Party membership pending an internal dispclinary tribunal where members will be tried for conspiracy and treason as per the Constitutition Section 6. (3) Section 7 – failure to use the correct channels to express concerns, 8 - spreading false and malicious rumours about Party officials and members, and behaviour likely to bring the Party into disrepute. Those found guilty of conspiracy and treason will be expelled from the Party and proscibred for life.

The laugable attempt to portray themselves as trying to 'save the party' is directly contradicted by the fact that they have spent since Christmas undermining the party, attacking the party, spreading lies about the Chairman, myself and other party activists, inciting dissent in the party and actively encouraging party activists not to stand in elections or assist party candidates in the elections.

The Evening Standard reveals that Nick Eriksen, BNP London organiser and second highest BNP London Assembly candidate is behind the notorious far-right internet blog "Sir John Bull" which contains shocking comments about women, black people and other groups.

The blog was stopped in Autumn 2007, the author's real name was not published on the blog but the Evening Standard established that the identity of the blog writer was indeed Nick Eriksen when an employee posed as a BNP sympathiser and sent a message to the blog's contact email address.

Two days later Mr Eriksen replied as himself and giving BNP London Mayoral candidate Richard Barnbrook's contact number and stating:

I am surprised, and disappointed, to see that you are considering standing as London Mayoral candidate for the English Democrats. Nathan Worrell, 34, appears at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court via video link from Blakenhurst Prison, Worcestershire.

The BNP fail to win the seat in the Ibstock & Heather by-election made vacant by the death of Labour Councillor Dai Male in November 2007.

Labour won with 699 votes. The BNP manage to acheive second place with 637 votes, beating the Convservatives with 515 votes into third place and the Liberal Democrats with 411 votes into fourth place. This is most likely because previously UKIP had stood for election but did not do so this time and it is likely that the UKIP voters joined the BNP voters this time around. BNP member Anthony Weeks is spared jail for a racially aggravated attack on another man after the victim, Alan Noaman, said he did not want to see Weeks or his family suffer after losing his job.

A former soldier and Midland British National Party election candidate has been jailed for 15 months after sending obscene images involving children to others.

Roderick Rowley (51), previously from Coventry, was also ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years after admitting at Birmingham Crown Court 14 charges of making indecent photos, four of distributing them and one charge of possessing an image for distribution.

BNP leader, Nick Griffin is acquitted of incitement to racial hatred after an appeal against the outcome of the previous trial.

Griffin used words to aggravate and incite religious tension and hatred rather than using words based on race which is how he gets around being found guilty for incitement to racial hatred which he has previously been convicted of.

An "urgent appeal" for Sharon Ebanks appears on White Nationalist forum "Stormfront".

"I have just been asked to put up this urgent appeal for Sharon E Banks.
It seems from the letter Sharon recieved from the Solicitors this morning that the Party has no intention of paying Sharons Costs.
The Solicitors have now extended the deadline to next Thursday 26th.
Sharon has to have the £5000 by then or Bancruptcy proceedings will be started against her.
It seems an insult to members & suporters that we have to once again raise this appeal as more than enough money was raised to cover the costs by the Party itself. The money has obviousley been spent on a more worthwhile cause as the Party sees fit.

Thankyou for your letter of the 16th of October. After making enquiries it appears there has been a misunderstanding.

The British National Party has no legal agreement with Sharon Ebanks to meet any payments on her behalf for costs awarded against her by the court. You will have to pursue this matter directly with her.

49 year old former BNP member Robert Cottage appears before Burnley Magistrates charged with possession of an explosive substance under the Explosives Substances Act 1883 after forensic experts searched his home, allegedly discovering chemical components which could be used to make explosives.

Officers claim that their find is the largest haul of chemicals of its kind discovered in someone's home in the country.

David Leach, representing Cottage made no application for bail.

Magistrates remanded Cottage in custody and referred his case to Burnley Crown Court.

Cottage, a sub-contracted driver for Lancashire County Council, stood for the BNP in the May elections in the Vivary Bridge ward of Colne.

David Bolus Jackson (62), of Trent Road, Nelson also made a separate appearance before the court charged with being in possession of an explosive substance for an unlawful purpose.
